About cooking
November 2nd, 2007That I’m not much of a cook (It’s hereditary, see the comment of my mother on the cook item) doesn’t mean that there can’t be good cooking in my kitchen! Yesterday evening Philene did a briljant job in proving that. She cooked a fishdish that was of chefsquality.
My job was the groceries so I went to Smit’s, the finest fishstore in Rotterdam. Well known for its quality even outside Rotterdam. I bought coquilles st-Jacques, monkfish, salmon and more. Herbs, fresh green pasta and so on.
And so Phil had all the ingredients she needed. My kitchen loved it, and so did I.
I already promised friends to make enough to invite them another time to taste this delight. So there is more waiting in my freezer.
