It is almost time to go. As you know I hardly can wait till he is gone. But nevertheless there are some who are going to miss him. ;-
Some fotos in a hurry, without text but you see the state de Grote Meid is in at the moment. No masts, rust everywhere. But it is getting fabulous at the end.
Think he is incredible? Listen to her!
There’s much more where this comes from on youtube.
The best excuse ever? It sure is original.
Wait till I have my own iPhone. I’ll find out if this can happen….
Can’t get enough of him. Did you see the 60 minutes interview? Isn’t he adorable?
Watch CBS Videos Online
When he smiles… oh man. And also smart and trustworthy at the same time.
What does it for me is that he dares to be vulnarable. Not acting like he knows it all.Â
Let’s compare this video in 2 years. Will he still be this cute.
And then the ads, the viagra thing. For us Dutchies this is hilarious. And, can’t help thinking, Dutch as I am, Â how much did they pay for it.
I hope he can make the change he wants without changing to much himself.
I admire, apart from all the important other things, his use of the internet. Just after he won there was a new website on line where ideas, wishes and dreams can be stated and where you can apply for jobs for exemple.
And look at all the backstage family pictures.
A friend of mine is in Washington right this moment with a group of members for the Presidential Election Week.
In his blog he writes about Sarah Palin (interesting biblical name):
“She was a risky choice, but a worthwhile risk. Trippi agrees with Nelson and even calls her a ‘brilliant pick’, she appeals to exactly those people that are having problems connecting with Obama. According to Trippi she is the closest an average American has come to reaching the White House in over a century.
And mind you, she will go for president some time. That is, deep down inside she wants to, being able to is something completely different of course.
Who knows. Strange things happen.
It had been ages since I spend time in a museum. But these days in the Kunsthal in Rotterdam is an exhibition of Giacometti. Realy worth spending your time.
Had lunch yesterday with a friend. We once sailed across the ocean and now she and her husband are building this new boat. Based on the Grote Meid. We talked a lot about it and she told me there is a film on Youtube about the project. So have a look.
Things are not progressing as fast as they wishe but still going strong.
