Look here! …… Duh

Not only is my new haircut awfull, I also died it myself with the wrong stuff.
All due to the vacation of my own hairdresser.

I wanted to have my hair done before going to Antigua this Friday. But it appeared to be that my hairdresser was on holliday. Why? I mean, can’t he just go when I’m away and do not need him?

So I had to go to another hairdresser. With all risks included. I never had a good haircut from another hairdresser then my own before, so…
And look what he has done. It is just nothing. I mean, I know I’m (that is, my hair is) not looking awfully bad but it is not what I’m used to at all. It is flat and to short at the wrong places.
And above all that I died my hair myself. And now life is gone out of it ;-(

And don’t say it will grow.. I know that but it’ll take time, to much time.

But I might survive, maybe.

Theo had big, big problems with his TyTN. He did not get a text with a new voicemail. How inconvenient.

So he compared the registers of his and mine TyTn. Took about 2 hours.

Not found one helpfull thing. Then we tried his SIM in my TyTN and vice versa. Did work in my phone perfectly so the sim must be broke.

He phned the helpdesk and he is now getting new SIMcards when he goes to the store. Obviously they are capable of setting the new SIM to his own number at once. Why is it that it takes that long when you are buying a new phone???

When Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first humans to land on the moon, they planted a US flag there; the photo Armstrong took of Aldrin with the flag is so well-known that it has become an icon. In its extensive report on this flag, NASA writes: “it is uncertain if the flag remained standing or was blown over by the engine blast when the ascent module took off”. Last week however, according to news paper BN/De Stem, a visiting Buzz Aldrin told an audience of students from the Delft University of Technology that the flag was no longer standing; when leaving for earth, the astronauts accidentally knocked it over. Spring starts today, or tomorrow? Just in case you are interested.

Tipical Dutch… Since next year we have a new marker on the road. The green line. Never heard of it, never seen it jet. No campaign to let people know what the meaning of this new phenomenon is or what they are expected to do. Can you believe that. I would not have known only becouse I was listening to a radio
program where they expressed also this feeling of unbelieve in the authorities who does these things without letting the people know.

Anyways, it means that you may not drive faster than 100 km p/h.

A shame, I hoped it would mean that these roads are the most beautifull in the country.

Today the weather is awfull. Raining, cold. And the forecast for the rest of the week is not much better.

All the more reason to go to Antigua…

I have this little gadget programme on my PDA. It’s called NoniGPSplot and it communicates with an bluetooth GPS. At the end it shows the route you take on GoogleEarth.

Like this. This was in Portugal. First Picture shows us, the jellow line, sailing from PortiMao to Sives. The second is the route we walked in Silves.

I’m not very familiar with the program jet (it has a French manual) but finally I managed at least this. I’ll try to improve when in Antigua next month. That will be fun, to see the tracks we sailed at the races.

I’m sorry, I just saw that I wrote about this subject also on februari 23rd. So what is new, and I still don’t know this programme very well, do I.

cricketteam is op het wereldkampioenschap in Brits West-Indië tegen een

wereldranglijst, won met 221 runs verschil van Oranje: 353-132. Het was
het op twee na grootste verlies op een WK in de geschiedenis. Zondag
speelt Nederland tegen wereldkampioen Australië.Het toernooi vindt
