Very interesting if you are searching for old websites. What did they look like, what did they say again?

Just type the url in the archive website and wait.
Then you can choose which date you want to see.

I tried it with my former url, the .com.
Look at the result. Try for instance 2003. Funny how even a website can look outdated.

If you google for interim management in the Dutch Google, there is a fair chance that you’ll find my ad in the side bar at the right side of the search page.

Not every time, depends on what you want to pay for it. I’m very interested in the results.

Honestly I had no idea how these ads came there. But today I got a letter in the mail which explaned it all. They also gave me 50 euros to start with. And, Dutch as I am, I try it at once of course.

I keep you posted on the results.

Last week my grandmother died. She just closed her eyes and that was it. Actually a quiet way of dying. She was just 96 years old. Very respectable age.

She died, convicted of the fact that she was going to meet her husband and son. So she was nog affraid  to go anymore.

Tomorrow is the service and funeral. What remains are the good memories.  She will be remembered as a sweet and grand old lady.

I know, on all the pictures that you could see in former post, none of them was the real, uncovered Pincoffs.

So, here he is. Actually a beautiful statue made by Willem Verbon. He made more statues in Rotterdam and further away.

This weekend Rotterdam sparkles and shimmers again. World harbour days. Very interesting tours 3 days long. Most of them in the industrial harbours. And very much to do on the river itself.

Today I learned how chlorine is made out of salt. Needs very much power, energy, so Akzo Nobel is very keen on reducing energy costs and making biological energy and so on. Maybe Wubbo can meen something here?
It’s a pitty that we were not allowed to make pictures of the actual plant with al the piping.

But it lookes like something like this, only not so clean. And we did not smell chlorine at all. Which was very amazing I think.

Put my old, but still going strong, Apple PowerBook on Marktplaats. First for 500 euro but did some comparing and upgraded the price within 5 minutes to 575 euro. And already had someone who wants to pay 580.

So I’ll wait and see what tomorrow brings.

I’m invited, that is, I had myself been invited, by Payter. A methode to pay with your mobile in shops. If I fill in all the forms I get a phone that is capable of doing all this. I have to buy things in shops in Rotterdam that participate, 2 times a month. No problem with that.
And you know me, I’m always in for trying new things in the IT world.
